Website Rebuild Case Study
Stride Vets partnered with Want SEO to relaunch their website with a clear focus on aligning search optimisation, user experience, and a modern development foundation. The goal was to better communicate their story, showcase the full breadth of equine services they offer, and outcompete other local practices in Farnham and the surrounding region through improved organic visibility and credibility.
Through strategic content, improved site architecture, and UX enhancements, the project has strengthened Stride’s position as a trusted, professional equine practice in Surrey and beyond.

Challenge
Before the rebuild, Stride’s online presence did not fully reflect the depth of their services or their local authority within the Farnham market. The original website lacked comprehensive service pages and strong content that could compete with larger practices for local search visibility.
Users struggled to find relevant information easily, and potential clients visiting the site were not being guided effectively toward key service areas or contact points. The objective was to address these gaps while setting up a foundation for sustained organic growth.
Strategy
We developed a UX-informed SEO strategy with three core priorities:
- Content and service depth: Expand and restructure the site to include detailed factual articles and clear service descriptions that answer search intent and build trust with prospective clients.
- Technical and UX alignment: Improve site architecture, navigation, and page layouts so users can quickly find the information they need and search engines can index the site effectively.
- Local relevance: Focus optimisations on Farnham and surrounding areas to strengthen local SEO signals and ensure Stride appears prominently in searches for equine veterinary care nearby.
This approach ensured SEO improvements were not isolated tactics but integrated with how real clients experience the site.
Campaign
The campaign began with a comprehensive content audit and keyword mapping to identify gaps in service coverage and user paths. New pages were developed that align with the way horse owners search for veterinary care online, backed by factual, useful content that answers common questions and demonstrates expertise. On-page changes included improved meta tagging, schema where appropriate, and enhanced internal linking to guide users between related services and informational articles.
UX improvements were rolled out alongside visual and structural updates to the site so that navigation supported both user goals and SEO objectives. Clear calls to action and service hierarchy helped users move from general information toward making contact or booking services, strengthening conversion points without detracting from organic performance.
Results
Since the relaunch, Stride Vets has seen measurable improvements in key SEO and UX outcomes:
- Improved organic visibility: More pages ranking for relevant equine care keywords in Farnham and the wider South region.
- Increased website traffic: Higher overall organic sessions compared to the previous site baseline.
- Enhanced impressions and engagement: Broader presence in search results with strong visibility for expanded service content.
These results illustrate how the combined focus on SEO, UX, and development has driven greater attention and credibility for Stride Vets online. The improvements set the stage for ongoing optimisation and scaling as the business continues to grow.
